Thanks to the assembled documentation and unfettered access to a considerable part of the archives at the International Criminal Court for the Former Yugoslavia at The Hague, HLC priorities today are the founding of RECOM, encouraging the trial of war crimes, initiating criminal procedure against suspects, representing victims in war crime trials and reparation cases, and educating young people about the recent past through the judgements handed down by the ICTY, the Kosovo Book of Remembrance, and the Jugoslovenska kriza-raspad SFRJ portal (The Yugoslav Crisis – the Fall of the SFRY).
